When it comes to empowering, enlightening and educating members of community associations, Boards of Directors, and individual homeowners no one compares to Kyndall Francis. The high-octane and synergistic CEO of Legacy Management regularly supplies need to know information and ignites heated discussions related to the industry.
His career began in the late 90's when he was offered a position as the Managing Agent for a small local management company; he was instrumental in more than doubling the value of the company. This is when the owners of the firm decided to sell due to the increased value. Kyndall then decided that he wanted to work with the biggest and best firm out there. Sure enough, he attained that goal - working for one of the largest firms on the east coast, but within six months, there were more offers as others saw his talents in bringing change to the communities he served.
After an almost tragic mistake working for one of the poorest run outfits in the DC Metropolitan area, a place where people and communities were being taken advantage of everyday, he sought out opportunity to change a failing company and reached out to upper management with his ideas. He even offered to purchase the entity, when the numbers didn't meet the asking price, he decided that the best way to initiate change and to create a lasting difference for community associations and his own family - was to create and open his own management firm - Legacy Management.
In less than eight months, and after multiple television and radio interviews covering the difference Legacy Management was making in communities through-out the DC Metropolitan Area, it was suggested that Kyndall host his own show, providing all the knowledge he offered his own clients to people all over the Mid - Atlantic Region. He was apprehensive, but the success of “Community Concepts” is undeniable - starting out at Annapolis’ WNAV AM 1430, his show quickly became Nationally Syndicated. He was then offered an opportunity to take his weekly broadcast to one of the largest stations in the country, Radio One. He accepted and can now be heard every Sunday at 12 p.m. on 1010 AM WOLB.
His vibrant personality on and off the air, with his staff and clients has made him a sought after motivational speaker and favorite of people he services - homeowners, vendors, clients and non-clients alike. He began attracting national attention with his poignant life and business story he accepted a two book deal; he is currently putting the finishing touches on his first book - the soon to be released: "Association Management in the African American Community". He will also be publishing in late 2009 his autobiography; his goal is to prove to anyone and everyone that dreams do come true and that you can make a change and a difference in a community if you believe.
Kyndall continues to entertain, enlighten and educate on “Community Concepts” each and every week, while running daily operations of Legacy Investment & Management; using his hands on approach and actively managing properties himself. All this is in pursuit of his ultimate dream, to be the first Management Company to provide service in every contracted arena.
